Because 85% of our difference-makers are being impacted by student loan debt, we have created scholarship opportunities to lessen or eradicate the need for loans for those who desire to attain a college degree.
Holiday Toy Drive Initiative
Because every child deserves a gift at Christmas…
An annual program that focuses on providing a Christmas experience for disadvantaged youth in various Dallas communities. Since 2015, TFC has partnered with area agencies to provide families and youth shelters in the DFW metroplex with Christmas gifts during the holiday season. Funds and in-kind donations for this initiative are garnered through an annual toy drive/holiday party in December.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
We're excited to kick off our Ready, Set, Read Program! We’ve partnered with two locations to read to their daycare- aged students. Research shows that reading to children in early childhood has many benefits, including: supported cognitive development, increased language skills, increased concentration and discipline, increased creativity and imagination, and preparation for academic success. You'll have the opportunity to choose a 30 minute timeslot to read to daycare age children. Books are provided on site.

Park South Family YMCA
Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays from 4 p.m.-5:00 p.m.
